Timothy S. Springer (Tim)

Founding Partner

Tim spends his days juggling manage facets of AVAD Capital’s business, including sourcing new opportunities, negotiating transactions, and managing investor relations. Tim oversaw the rapid expansion of AVAD’s core business (self-storage), tripling the Move It Storage footprint from 2018-2022. He is on the boards of directors for both the National Self Storage Association and the Large Owners Council. Before joining Move It Storage, Tim practiced law in the Financial Insolvency & Restructuring group of Norton Rose Fulbright. Tim graduated with honors from both the SMU Dedman School of Law (J.D.) and the Hankamer School of business at Baylor University (B.B.A.), where he was a founding analyst for the early stage private equity investment group called the Baylor Angel Network.

Jarrett B. Reed, Esq.

Founding Partner

Jarrett directs AVAD Capital’s acquisition and transaction management program, coordinating with the analyst team to identify suitable opportunities, negotiate conveyance and joint venture documents, perform due diligence, coordinate financing activities, and manage the closing process. He leverages 15 years of private practice experience as a partner at two different Am Law 50 international law firms—Norton Rose Fulbright and Sheppard Mullin. As a real estate lawyer, he has represented clients across all asset types, with specialization in acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions in all 50 states. Jarrett graduated from Texas A&M University (B.S.) and SMU Dedman School of Law (J.D.).
